Ingredients
- 1/2 recipe basic pie dough
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 6 cups peeled and sliced Bartlett pears (2 1/2 pounds)
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
Directions
- Step 1Roll out half the dough on a lightly floured sheet of parchment paper to 1/4-inch thickness (about a 12-inch circle). Fit into a 9-inch pie plate, crimping edges as desired. Refrigerate 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Step 2Preheat oven to 365°F.
- Step 3Cut butter into 3/4 cup flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Add pears and cranberries, stirring to coat. Pour into prepared crust. Top evenly with pecan mixture. Place on an aluminum foil-lined rimmed baking sheet.
- Step 4Bake at 365°F for 70 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
