Teriyaki Beef-and-Mushroom Kebabs
These rich grilled kebabs are a solid crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients
- Canola oil, for grill grates
- 1 1/2 lb. strip or sirloin steak, trimmed and cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 medium red onion, cut into 1-inch wedges and halved
- 8 oz. mushrooms, trimmed and halved, if large
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- Kosher salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
Directions
- Step 1Set up grill for direct cooking and heat to medium-high. Once hot, clean and lightly oil grates with canola oil. Toss together steak, onion, mushrooms, and olive oil in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Thread onto skewers, separating onion layers.
- Step 2Grill kebabs, turning occasionally, until steak reaches desired doneness, 8 to 10 minutes for medium-rare, basting with teriyaki sauce during last 2 minutes of cooking.
