Letting your cat roam the yard or neighborhood leaves them open to dangers like other animals, insects, toxic plants, and diseases. That’s where a cat patio, aka a “catio,” comes in clutch: These enclosed spaces give your beloved felines a way to safely get some fresh air. When I saw this massive catio on Amazon, complete with 56 square feet of space to explore and multiple levels to keep them entertained, safe to say I was amazed.
It comes in multiple sizes, but the largest is about 6 feet wide and 9 feet long, and about 6 feet high. Made from wood, with galvanized wire mesh screens that claim to handle kitty claws, it’s basically a feline paradise. There are two bridges inside for them to clim across, seven perches for them to nap on, and two sleeping houses in case they want some shade. There’s also a roof cover that’s removable, if your cats want to be outdoors in the rain. Plus, it boasts two entrances: a large door for humans to enter, or a small door that can attach to a tunnel, so your feline can go in and out as they please through a window or cat door.
