Now, you don't have to make reservations at your favorite Italian restaurant to get it! This easy recipe is as tasty as it gets. Make a batch and share it with your favorite person for Valentine's Day.

Ingredients
- 1 (8-oz) package mascarpone cheese, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup strongly brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 Tbsp. coffee liqueur, plus 1 more if needed (optional)
- Lady fingers
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Directions
- Step 1Beat mascarpone, confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until combined and creamy, 1 to 2 minutes. In a second bowl, beat egg yolks on medium speed until thickened and pale yellow, 3 to 5 minutes. Fold yolks into mascarpone mixture. Whisk heavy cream on high speed with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form, 3 to 5 minutes. Fold into mascarpone mixture.
- Step 2Stir together coffee and liqueur, if using, in a measuring cup. Dip ladyfingers in coffee mixture, one at a time, and place in the bottom of a 8-by-8-inch baking pan. Top with one-third of the mascarpone mixture; spreading into an even layer. Dust mascarpone with cocoa powder. Repeat layers two more times, ending with cocoa powder. Chill at least 6 hours or up to overnight.
