Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk, at room temperature
- 6 Tbsp. (3/4 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 2 cups all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
- 1 (0.32-ounce) package instant yeast
- Nonstick cooking spray
- Sautéed Apples, Pear & Cranberries, for serving
- Vanilla yogurt, for serving
Directions
1. Whisk together milk, butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt in a bowl. Add eggs and whisk to combine. Add flour and yeast and stir to combine. Cover and let rest at room temperature 1 hour or chill overnight (mixture should bubble a bit).
2. Stir batter to combine. Cook in a waffle iron per manufacturer’s instructions. Serve warm topped with Sautéed Apples, Pear & Cranberries and yogurt.
