Use this to make Vanilla-Scented Roasted Cauliflower. Vanilla oil can be used as a base for vinaigrettes or a marinade for roasted pork chops or chicken breasts.

Ingredients
- 2 vanilla beans
- 5 Tbsp. canola oil
- 0.13 tsp. salt
Directions
- Step 1Combine the vanilla beans, canola oil, and salt in a blender and process until fine. Strain through fine-mesh sieve and set aside.
- Step 2To use as a rub, lightly coat the meat surface before roasting and cook as usual.
- Step 3Stir a tablespoon of melted butter or light olive oil into a teaspoon of vanilla oil, then drizzle over rice or vegetables like steamed carrots or roasted sweet potatoes.
