If you want to make sure your festive post gets to its destination in time for Christmas, it's important to check the Royal Mail 2025 last Christmas posting dates in the UK before you head to the postbox.

While it's always best to try and send Christmas cards and gifts as early as possible, particularly for international deliveries, here are the absolute last dates you can attempt to deliver post and still be in with a chance of it arriving in time.

Last Christmas posting dates for 2025

This year, the last day for posting a 2nd Class delivery in the UK is Wednesday 17th December. For first-class mail in the UK, it's Saturday 20th December.
